As a Cook at our premises, you will:
- Work independently to prep for meals and cook based crafted processes & recipes.
- Assist in maintaining, ordering required inventory.
- Work alongside your team to keep the kitchen clean, and contribute to a great customer experience.

We are a restaurant & shop situated in Forfar Ontario. We serve cuisines from the around the world, Chinese, Malaysian, Thai and East Coast Halifax favourite's. Our fresh cheese curds and aged cheese are available from Wednesday to Sunday. We also carry fresh breads baked everyday and sourdough breads.
Responsibilities
- prep all meals and cook based crafted processes & recipes
- responsible for reading & following recipes
- measuring and mixing ingredients, molding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens
- Ingredient Preparation – Washing, chopping, and sorting vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Kitchen Organization – Labeling and stocking ingredients for easy access
- Sanitation & Cleanliness – Washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash to maintain a hygienic workspace
- Inventory Management – Keeping track of ingredient supplies and coordinating restocking with business owners
Requirements
- Knife Skills - Efficiently chopping, slicing & dicing ingredients for consistency
- Food Safety & Sanitation - Proper handling, storage & hygiene to prevent contamination
- Time Management - Working quickly & efficiently to keep up with kitchen demands
- Multitasking - Managing multiple prep tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- Continuous standing /walking for all tasks.

$19 to $22 per hour based on experience
