As a Cook at Sunflower Bake Shop, you will:
Work independently and as part of a small team to cook meals each day, following carefully crafted recipes.
Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes
Work alongside your team to keep the kitchen clean and contribute to a great customer experience.
What To Expect
- Get those workstations set up with all the yummy ingredients and cooking gear.
- Chop, dice, and prep those ingredients like a pro.
- Cook up a storm using different utensils and techniques.
- Keep an eye on the food as it cooks, give it some love.
- Make those dishes look pretty before they hit the table.
- Keep the kitchen spick and span, we're all about cleanliness.
- Store things right and make sure everything is top-notch.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg.
What we're looking for:
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience cooking up a storm and able to do some baking
- Know your way around the kitchen tools.
- Familiar with various cooking methods.
- Can keep things clean and follow the rules.
- Love working in a team and chatting with others.
- Got the energy to keep up.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a bonus!
